The research process we're embarking on is aimed at learning and developing digital tools for creating real time simulations of particle movements and flow of liquids that can be used in interactive and performative presentations. The team is combining experiences of storytelling through dance movement, narrative and technical research, and developing experiential video installations and interactivity programming.

Recent developments in computer graphics and software programming have made it more accessible for artists to create new and exciting visual effects that extend the motion of the body/performer or viewer into an expanded field of a cinematic experience. Machine Learning, Ray Tracing, Fluid Mechanics are some of the technologies that have become increasingly more accessible to non programming artists.

Our learning process will generate tutorials and tools that for ourselves and artists who want to engage with the new tools for creating visual experiences.
